Accounting and Auditing Libraries:
The Accounting and Auditing Libraries provide recommended learning for staff members to progress through an organization from new staff member to partner or principle. Each level is designed to build on the participants’ basic knowledge and the previous level’s courses to increase their technical knowledge. Successfully completing the courses in this library will assist in ensuring that the staff member has the prerequisite technical knowledge to perform at each level and to succeed in a CPA firm.

A&A Level I Library includes courses covering basic accounting and auditing skills that new staff need to quickly master in order to be productive members of an audit team.

A&A Level II Library provides courses designed to enhance the knowledge of the staff member. These courses are on higher level technical topics that will increase the staff members’ technical abilities and prepare them to assume a greater level of responsibility on accounting and auditing engagements.

A&A Level III Library focuses on advanced technical topics and transitioning staff accountants and auditors to perform more complex accounting and auditing procedures as well as assuming more responsibilities related to engagement and client management.

Tax Libraries:
The Tax Libraries provide recommended learning for tax staff members to enhance their knowledge of compliance requirements and law in each area of taxation in order to prepare them to successfully progress through an organization from new tax staff member to partner or principle. Each area of taxation is designed to build on the participants’ basic understanding of the subject matter and to increase his or her technical knowledge of the subject. Successfully completing the courses in this library will assist in ensuring that the tax staff member has the prerequisite technical knowledge to provide quality services in each area of taxation.

Individual Tax Library provides courses designed to enhance the basic knowledge of the staff member in the area of individual taxation. This section also includes courses on higher level technical topics that will increase the staff members’ technical abilities and prepare them to assume a greater level of responsibility on individual tax engagements.

Corporate Tax Library focuses on courses covering corporate taxation. These courses are generally on higher level technical topics that will increase the staff members’ technical abilities and prepare them to assume a greater level of responsibility on corporate tax engagements.

Pass-Through Entities Tax Library includes tax training courses for Partnerships, S Corporations and Limited Liability Companies (LLCs). These courses address the specialized tax treatment for these entities. The courses build on the tax staff’s basic knowledge in this area and then progress through more advanced topics that will allow the staff member to assume more responsibilities for these engagements.

Small Business Tax Library focuses on courses covering specific tax issues related to small businesses and their owners. These courses are designed to build on the tax staff’s basic knowledge of business taxation. Higher level technical topics are also included that will increase the staff members’ technical abilities and prepare them to assume a greater level of responsibility on small business tax engagements.

Ethics Library:
The Ethics Library includes 46 state-specific ethics courses, ethics for financial planners, ethics for Enrolled Agents and 5 general ethics courses. The state specific ethics courses are approved to meet state ethics requirements, and the financial planners and Enrolled Agents ethics course is approved for those professional organizations. These courses are designed to meet the ethics requirements of CPAs regardless of the state or states in which they practice.
